MEET ROCKY
CELEBRATING 10 YEARS IN THE BAKKEN
The construction industry in Michigan slowed to a halt amidst the recession. Rocky heard about the building boom underway in North Dakota. In 2012, he packed up his concrete tools and moved to Williston. Rocky's mechanical aptitude led him into a career in the oilfield, until he was laid off in 2020. It was then, 8 years later, he would finally put those concrete tools to use when he founded Rock's Egress & Concrete.
EXTENSIVE CONCRETE EXPERIENCE
- Residential flatwork, including patios, sidewalks, and driveways. Specialization in decorative stamped finishes, color, acid staining, and etching.
- Seawall installation on the shores of Lake Erie, including elaborate design of stairwells, retaining walls, and patios.
- Commercial footings and poured walls for large projects through the Laborer's Union.
- Industrial Gunnite and Shotcrete installation for refractory work in steel mills and refineries in Detroit.
- Core Drilling and Saw Cutting Certified for work on concrete high-rises in Las Vegas.
- Foreman on the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge North Nevada Arch- the largest concrete arch span in North America.
ROCK's EGRESS & CONCRETE
The need for concrete expertise in our community is great. Most of our homes have basements, so foundation repair and egress windows are in high demand. Rocky specializes in structural concrete. He has gained extensive experience and knowledge through large scale commercial and industrial projects throughout his career. He wants to put his knowledge to good use by helping homeowners in the community understand and address their concrete and foundation projects with confidence.
